DIRECTOR OF MARKETING

Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts is one of the UK’s leading drama schools with a worldwide reputation for excellence in education and training. We are entering a period of growth and development with a planned move to new premises by 2015.

This new post will play a key role in achieving our goals for the next phase of our work. Key priorities will be brand development, external relations and supporting our fundraising strategy as well as managing all promotion and publicity for Mountview’s courses, productions and other student-focussed, education and community activities. You will develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and industry contacts, the press and media whilst ensuring that marketing strategies maximise the use of social and digital media.

A proven track record of marketing and management at a senior level, preferably in the arts or HE sectors, along with evidence of developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns is required. A problem solver with excellent written and verbal communication skills, you will have expertise in managing a team and in setting and achieving shared targets.

You will have the presence and ability to develop and promote a marketing and communications-oriented culture as well as act as an ambassador for the Academy.

SALARY: circa £45,000 depending on experience

HEAD OF SINGING AND MUSIC

We are seeking an exceptional individual as a key member of the Performance Department. You will be responsible for the strategic development, management and delivery of the singing and music curriculum and for all singing and music teaching on our undergraduate and postgraduate courses. You will make a significant contribution to the teaching programme, act as Musical Director for productions and showcases, and work with academic colleagues to ensure that Mountview remains at the forefront of theatre training.

You must have a successful track record of teaching and training singers and musicians for the professional theatre industry and of working in an academic environment, preferably at higher education or conservatoire level. Training in music or singing to degree level or equivalent and advanced piano skills are essential.

This new role requires you to have the experience of managing and leading a creative team of full time and visiting staff to ensure students receive the highest possible levels of tuition, guidance and support.

SALARY: circa £ 37,000 depending on experience

SENIOR TUTOR (SINGING) and SENIOR TUTOR (MUSIC)

Mountview is also seeking to appoint two exceptional individuals to join its Singing and Music Team as Senior Tutors in Singing and Music.

SALARY: circa £28,000 depending on experience
