Guy Unsworth
Guy received the Directors Guild award for best New Director 2008 and graduated in 2009. Guy will be Assistant Director to Lucy Bailey on The Beggar's Opera at the Open Air Theatre in Regent's Park this summer.
His directing work since leaving Mountview includes Fresher: The Musical which won Best New Musical at Edinburgh Fringe in 2010; shows for Arts Ed, Mountview, Speckulation Entertainment, Qdos Entertainment, the Bridewell and the Landor Theatre. He has also worked as Creative Associate Director at the Vaudeville Theatre, West End Assistant Director at the Octagon Theatre, Bolton, Duchess Theatre, West End and the New Players (now Charing Cross Theatre).
Guy is currently Resident Director for the 2012 UK Tour of ‘Dandy Dick’, featuring Patricia Hodge & Nicholas Le Prevost.
