Mountview endeavours to use plain English wherever possible although it is sometimes unavoidable to use technical terms, shortened versions and acronyms for organisations and qualifications within the education, training, Arts and Theatre sectors.

The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), along with other groups and standards bodies, has established technologies for creating and interpreting web-based content. These technologies, which are referred to as web standards are carefully designed to deliver the greatest benefits to the greatest number of web users whilst ensuring the long-term viability of any document published on the web.
Pages on this website aim to conform to W3C WCAG level A and to validate as XHTM 1.0 Transitional. The website has also been designed and maintained in conformance with the Disability discrimination Act 2005 (DDA) and Special Needs and Disability Act 2001 (SENDA) to provide equal access web site opportunity for disabled people.
