Dance and Drama Awards
The Dance and Drama Awards (DaDA) are scholarships funded by the Young People's Learning Agency. They are awarded to the students who display the most potential to succeed in the profession. Only students taking an approved Trinity College London qualification will be eligible to apply for an award. These courses last between one and three years and are at National Diploma or National Certificate level. Awards offer greatly reduced tuition fees and access to an income-assessed student support fund. For further information about the awards and eligibility, please visit the DaDA website.
The Academy normally allocates its awards at the end of the audition cycle (early May). Students from the United Kingdom and EU are eligible to be considered for these Awards. All eligible candidates are considered for these awards and there is no need to apply for them during the initial application to the Academy. Dance and Drama awards are allocated on the basis of talent shown at the audition. If students are in receipt of a Dance and Drama Award, the Award will cover the majority of the tuition fees; students will be asked to make only a contribution to these fees. For 2011/2012 the student fee contribution will be £1,275.
Student Loans
Students studying at Mountview and who are not in receipt of a Dance and Drama Award are eligible to apply to the Student Loan Company for support. If awarded a Dance and Drama Award, then students are not eligible for any part of a student loan.
Please note: The student loan does not cover the whole tuition fee.
If you're a full-time student you can apply for:
