Hornsey Town Hall is prominently situated in the heart of the community, and a much-loved and much-missed iconic venue that was once the focus of local life.
The Mountview relocation project will:
- bring the Town Hall back to life as a sustainable and thriving hub for creative arts in Haringey: a lively and accessible cultural facility in a landmark building
- provide public access to the building greater than ever before
- provide new cultural facilities
- extend Mountview’s current vibrant education and community programme to offer even greater outreach and participation opportunities in the performing arts for people of all ages: children and families, students and young people, adults, and older people
- bring economic benefits to the local community: increased investment; custom and spend by students and users; increased skills development and employment opportunities
- be a focus for local pride and improving quality of life for the community.
