Perform Courses

These courses give you the opportunity to hone your performance skills, expand your experience and work with like-mined people. We will be looking to create a company to work for two terms with the aim of performing a play; piece of devised theatre or a filmed project at the end of the course. The Perform courses are a perfect chance to build on your experience and put your performance skills to the test.

Perform: Acting

The Acting Company will spend the first term following skills based training which includes acting, improvisation, voice and movement techniques. The second term will be spent putting those skills into practice rehearsing the chosen play for performance.

Perform: TV and Film

The course will spend the first term following acting technique lessons. The second term will be spent developing and adapting the skills learnt to working in front of camera, with the aim of filming and capturing a selection of short scenes or short devised film.

Perform: Devised

The Devised Theatre Company will spend the first term looking at different improvisation and devising techniques along side acting, movement and voice work. The second term will be spent devising, writing and rehearsing a show for performance.

Applicants should have previous experience and will be required to take part in a selection workshop for all the above options.

Each course runs for two terms of 10 weeks.
