Children & Young People's Summer Courses
ACTING (8-11 yrs.)
Dates: Monday 30th July – Friday 3rd August 2012
Fee: £150
During this week the students will work with their course tutor using a variety of acting exercises and theatre games to expand their understanding of storytelling and character development, which will in turn improve confidence and communication skills.
This course is about having fun and learning in a safe and exploratory environment.
ACTING (12-16 yrs.)
Dates: Monday 30th July – Friday 3rd August 2012

Following a selection of acting exercises, theatre games, improvisation and devising techniques the students will develop, explore and expand on their understanding of the professional actor.
The use of scripts will also be incorporated challenging them to put into practice what they have learnt.
MUSICAL THEATRE (12-16 yrs.)
Dates: Monday 6th August – Friday 10th August 2012
This exciting course is designed for a group of like minded students to form an ensemble in a safe environment and explore a range of material from the Musical Theatre repertoire.
During the course students will work on their singing, dancing and performance skills with both a musical director and choreographer.
The course will give them an insight into what skills are required of a professional music theatre performer and start putting those skills into practice.
It is an intensive but fun course and requires lots of high-energy!
All young people's summer courses run from Monday – Friday 10am – 4pm ending with a small informal end of course presentation to friends and family.
