We train the next generation of talented actors, directors, production artists and writers go straight to work in the industry each year. In 2016, 65 Mountview graduates performed on the West End stage.
Our acting students are the most diverse cohort of all accredited UK drama schools (40% are Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic) and 85% of students come from state schools. Students collaborate with the finest theatre practitioners to create exciting new work. Recent successes have included Lockhart, a new musical by Jason Carr and Ashley Robinson, which is now under option to be performed at the Public Theatre in New York in 2018.
Our outreach projects engage over 300 young people a week in a range of short courses, evening and weekend classes.
