Board

Cleve is a West End leading actor, and trained at Mountview on the BA Musical theatre course from 2012 to 2015. 

Cleve is particularly well known for his Olivier Award nominated portrayal of John Laurens/ Philip Hamilton in the Original West End Cast of Hamilton.

His extensive theatre projects include Will Fraser in The Little Big Things (@SohoPlace), Ted in Bonnie & Clyde (Garrick / Arts Theatre), Millennial in Millennials A New Musical (The Other Palace), Manchester in #50Days (Turbine Theatre), Tom Cat in Dick Whittington (The National Theatre), Woof in Hair The Musical: An Outdoor Concert (Norwich Theatre), Jesus Christ Superstar (Regents Park Open Air Theatre), Tommy Keeler in Annie Get Your Gun (Sheffield Crucible), Sonny in In The Heights (Kings Cross Theatre), The Last Days Of Troy (Shakespeare’s Globe).

Further projects include workshops such as Steven in Then, Now & Next, Carlos in Blue Bayou, Larry in Are You As Nervous As I Am, Mickey in Everyone’s Talking About Jamie.

Cleve’s concerts appearances include Elaine Paige’s 50th Anniversary Farewell Tour at Royal Albert Hall and Friday Night Is Music Night for the BBC. 

Recently Cleve can be seen on the big screen in Wicked and Wicked: For Good.
