Simon trained at Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

Sound design credits include: 20th Century Boy, Jack and the Beanstalk, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Dick Whittington, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Blues in the Night, Little Shop of Horrors and Bedroom Farce (New Wolsey Theatre) and the New Wolsey Theatre/Graeae co-production Flower Girls. Most recently he has worked on Mods and Rox (world premiere at the New Wolsey Theatre), and Miss Nightingale (New Wolsey/The Lowry), Cinderella (The Arts Depot 2019), Beauty and the Beast (City Varieties Music Hall).

Simon designed sound for musical versions of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Twelfth Night, The Merry Wives of Windsor, The Comedy of Errors and Romeo and Juliet.
