Tom Hughes

Guest Artist

Tom is a director and writer from Folkestone and now based in north London. He won
the 2017 Off West End Best Director Award for his debut production of punkplay (UK
premiere, Southwark Playhouse). Other work as writer/director includes: Daughters of the
Sun (Camden People’s Theatre), The devil’s got all the best tunes (Central). Other work
as associate/staff director includes: Caroline, or Change (West End), Amadeus and The Threepenny Opera (National Theatre)
