Andy is a Director-Choreographer from the UK whose style is influenced by his background as a professional dancer. Andy is interested in creating work that represents Irish culture in new imaginative ways through stories, music and dance. Credits include Romeo and Juliet (Asia Tour) and Footstorm (UK Tour).
Désirée has worked for Schauspielhaus Zurich and Theater Neumarkt (Zurich) in the past , is part of the Quantum Collective (Switzerland) and will be working as resident assistant director at Konzerttheater Bern for the seasons 2021/22 and 2022/23. Her interests are new writing, rewritings of classics, movement and intimacy work, and intracultural practice.
Fran holds a degree in Anthropology & Sociology from the University of Durham and is the current recipient of Cervantes Theatres’ ‘Direct Your Future’ award. She is currently creating a verbatim piece looking at the migration of Latin Women. Her past experience includes Musical Theatre and Film, including an Amazon Feature.
Liam’s previous directorial work includes Freedom (devised at Bath Spa), Shed Man (Camden Fringe) and Macbeth (Bristol). At Mountview he’s assisted Anna Girvan, Dan Phillips and Zubin Varla. Formally an actor, he uses those skills to inform his directing and is influenced by the work of Emma Rice.
Sam Tannenbaum is a theatre director who aims to create socially and politically engaged work that helps audiences to understand the world and so reimagine our places within it. Having previously studied Music at Cambridge where he directed opera, Sam is now focusing on creating subversive fringe theatre.
ROSA HIGGSRosa has previously undertaken a foundation course in Acting and Cinematography at the University of Salamanca and received her BA in English and Drama from Royal Holloway. She is fascinated by the transformative power of the arts, whether that be through time, space, culture or simply the interaction between humans.
Ruby trained as an actor at Birmingham Conservatoire. She took her show Cockroached to the Edinburgh Fringe and was nominated for the NSDF Edinburgh Award. She has worked on a number of new writing nights, on the London fringe and Assistant directed at Birmingham Conservatoire on a devised show; The Terror. At Mountview she has directed The Good Family and Assistant Directed Coram Boy and Two Gentlemen of Verona.
BECCA CHADDERBecca is a writer / director with a politics degree and is interested in radical adaptations of problematic text. Past work includes farcical comedy Number, Please. (Edinburgh Fringe, tour) and Shakespeare adaptation Her Romeo (Edinburgh) with Paprichoo. Becca is currently developing projects investigating representations of Ethiopia and mixed-heritage experiences.
ISSY PAULIssy graduated from the University of Oxford with a degree in Theology and Religion. She was a member of the RSC’s Next Generation programme and enjoys directing Shakespeare, musical theatre and adaptations. Her past work includes Spring Awakening (Oxford Playhouse), The Tempest (Worcester College Gardens) and Yesterday an Incident Occurred (Mountview).
