17 - 20 Jul

Directed by Rosie Thomas | Written, Performed and Produced by Paige Evans

17 - 20 Jul

P has decided to never leave her room again and has created a world of her own. It’s like when you make your own sandwich: sometimes you want to eat the same thing every day. Until that thing begins to eat you.

Since reading English and Drama at the University of Exeter, Paige has developed her own theatrical niche: food-theatre. As Artistic Director of Ravenous, Paige wrote, directed and produced her own pieces Baking Bad and Coffee Shop of Horrors, which completed a South-West tour and was selected as part of the RAW Emerging Arts Platform (2017). She worked with Baby Wants Candy! during the Edinburgh Fringe (2018) and has previously directed, produced and performed in two shows at the festival herself. Paige also has experience in classical performance and direction, performing in The Duchess of Malfi with High Wall Theatre and assistant directing a tour of As You Like It around Devon-based schools. Since undertaking the MA Creative Producing at Mountview, Paige has continued developing her own food-theatre practice as well as working with Park Theatre (Development), PW Productions (Nigel Slater’s Toast), and become Co-Producer of Chris Grady’s Revelation.
