Directed by Sally Ann Gritton

27 - 30 Nov

Morgan Lloyd Malcolm’s ground-breaking play charts the life of trailblazing poet Emilia Bassano as she defies the constraints of Elizabethan society. Bursting onto Mountview’s stage following its acclaimed West End run, Emilia is a passionate testimony to autonomy, equality and demanding that your voice be heard.

Sally Ann Gritton, previously Artistic Director of Sorted Productions, is Mountview’s Head of Undergraduate Performance. Direction for Mountview includes Sweeney Todd, Grand Hotel, Jane Eyre, Mary Shelley and Anna Karenina.

An amateur production by arrangement with Nick Hern Books
