Omigod you guys! When fashionista Elle Woods is dropped by her boyfriend Warner, she resolves to follow him to Harvard Law School and win back his love. But along the way, Elle discovers more about her own strengths and passions than she ever expected – and that being true to yourself never goes out of style.

Based on the much-loved film, this award-winning musical previously ran in the West End and on Broadway and features the songs Omigod You Guys, Bend and Snap, and So Much Better.

Franny Rafferty

Director

Franny trained at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.

Current projects: directing Legally Blonde (Mountview), directing Bare (Chichester Conservatoire), and Associate Director for Bugsy Malone (UK tour).

Recent credits as Director: Lysistrata Jones (ArtsEd, London), and UK Premiere of The Little Prince by James D. Reid and Nicholas Lloyd Webber (ICTheatre, Brighton).

As Associate Director: SIX The Musical (UK tour/West End/NCL Cruises 2019-2022), Turn of the Screw (UK tour), The Rink (Southwark Playhouse), Titanic The Musical (UK/Ireland tour/Hamburg State Opera), and Spamalot (UK tour 2018).

As Assistant Director: Pickle Jar (Soho Theatre) and Ever Onward Workshop (The Other Palace).

In addition, Franny mentors emerging artists, provides dramaturgical support to developing projects and regularly facilitates workshops.

Sam Young

Musical Director

A graduate of the Royal Academy of Music, Sam is an arranger, pianist and musical director who regularly works with leading artists, such as Ramin Karimloo, Hadley Fraser and Alice Fearn.

With a particular passion for new work, Sam was recently musical director for the UK première of Andrew Lippa’s musical The Man in the Ceiling and will shortly provide new arrangements for the first major revival of Lift.

Adam is a Mountview alum.
