Set against the backdrop of the American Civil War, join Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy March as they journey from childhood to womanhood in this musical retelling of Louisa May Alcott’s classic coming-of-age story.

The timeless, captivating novel is brought to life in this uplifting musical filled with personal discovery, heartache, hope, and the sounds of a young America finding its voice.

Little Women features flashing lights, violence and themes of death and grief.

Duration: 2 hours 20 minutes, including a 15-minute interval

Emily Reutlinger

Director

Emily is an award-winning international theatre director, dramaturg and educator whose work spans musical theatre, Shakespeare, and new work in a variety of forms. Past productions include work with the National Theatre of Scotland, Traverse Theatre, NYC’s Town Hall, Brits Off-Broadway, Theatre Uncut, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera.

Inga Davis-Rutter

Musical Director

Inga is a musical director, audition pianist and rep/vocal coach. Previously she was an RAF pilot, captaining C130 transport aircraft.

Recent MD credits include Little Women (Mountview), Drowsy Chaperone (LSMT), Cry Baby (The University of Chichester), Starting Here, Starting Now (Waterloo East Theatre), You Won’t Succeed on Broadway If You Don’t Have Any Jews (Tel Aviv, Israel/ The Other Palace).

She is currently Musical Supervisor on the upcoming Kathy and Stella Solve a Murder.

Choreographer

Shelby trained at London Studio Centre and the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School.

Matt’s West End sound design credits include: The House of Bernarda Alba, Journey’s End, When She Danced, Misery, Long Day’s Journey Into Night, Macbeth, Nicholas Nickleby, and for Sir Peter Hall: Lysistrata, The Master Builder, A Streetcar Named Desire, Amadeus(West End/Broadway).

He was Sound Supervisor for the Peter Hall Seasons (The Old Vic/The Piccadilly). His West End musical work includes Blues in the Night, Love Story, Singin’ in the Rain and Sunny Afternoon for which he was nominated for an Olivier Award.
