While an unsteady King wavers and his enemies plot to take his crown, his Queen must fight to retain their seat of power and protect it for their son. This reclamation of Shakespeare’s Henry VI combines new lines with the original text to become Queen Margaret.

Jane Moriarty is a freelance theatre director. Recent credits include The Apologists (Vault Festival) and Diamond (Bush Theatre and Underbelly, BBC Arts). Previously for Mountview: Blue Stockings. Jane was Resident Director of The Inheritance in the West End and was Resident Director at the National Theatre Studio 2016-17.

This amateur production is presented by arrangement with Nick Hern Books.
