28 Feb - 3 Mar
An absurd mix of tragedy and comedy, prose and music, The Hostage recalls the tensions of the IRA’s Border Campaign in the late 1950s. A British soldier is held captive in a Dublin brothel while an IRA member waits to hang in a Belfast jail. The Hostage is performed by Mountview’s Actor Musicians.
Chris Larner is a Fringe First Award winning actor, writer and director whose previous credits for Mountview include Oh, What a Lovely War! and Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris.
The Hostage is presented by special arrangement with The Society of Authors
