The Juliet Letters

9 - 12 Oct

Musical Director Stephen Marwick
Choreographer Stuart Rodgers

Mountview’s actor musicians perform this theatrical interpretation of Elvis Costello and the Brodsky Quartet’s 1993 album The Juliet Letters. Using the original lyrics, the tracks become a dramatic song-cycle telling stories of love, yearning, betrayal and death.

Julie Atherton trained at Mountview and has performed leading roles in West End shows including Mamma Mia and Avenue Q. She recently directed Bare: A Pop Opera (the Vaults Theatre) and has previously directed Girlfriends and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels at Mountview.
