An encounter between a self-proclaimed misogynist and a young woman out to prove herself initiates a series of events that call honour, family and justice into question. A new adaptation of two forgotten early modern plays by Phoebe Rowell John.
Phoebe (she/her) began theatre-making as part of Chickenshed Young Company, and went on to direct various productions while studying History at Cambridge. Her work includes Escaped Alone, Crouch Touch Pause Engage (Corpus Playroom), and Guys and Dolls (ADC Theatre). As an assistant: rob steal swindle (Mountview), A View From The Bridge (ADC) and Antigone (Corpus).
