Ptaszynski Producer (1 Year Fixed Term Contract)

The Ptaszynski Producer is a one-year fixed-term post designed to foster the development of an early-career producer. This post responds to the lack of representation amongst producers in UK theatre from diverse backgrounds.

The Producer will work with Mountview’s Head of Public Performance to help coordinate a programme of approximately 25 undergraduate and postgraduate productions across our two venues, and will assist with producing/coordinating a range of educational activities in the building and beyond. The Producer will support the institution to widen engagement, expand the reach of our work, develop our outward-facing programme and bring insights to this role grounded in lived experience.

Mountview sits in the centre of a thriving and diverse community in Peckham. We know that different lived experiences are essential in shaping our public productions and our approach to audience and community engagement. This post is designed not only to provide an opportunity for an early-career producer but also to empower them to have a vital voice in making our productions accessible to a broader audience.

Alongside their responsibilities at Mountview, the Producer will be supported in their career development with industry placements and shadowing.

SALARY: Circa £30-31K per annum, depending on experience

Executive & Governance Administrator

The Executive & Governance Administrator is a key member of Mountview’s administrative team, responsible for providing full clerical assistance to the Principal & CEO, and acting as secretary to a wide range of committees and working groups, including quarterly Board meetings. The post holder will also provide administrative support across projects, events and stakeholder management.

SALARY: Circa £32K per annum, depending on experience

Technical Manager (Stage Bias)

Technical Managers are key members of Mountview’s Production department, which comprises both training and technical staff. Reporting to the Head of Production (Technical), the Technical Manager (Stage Bias) is responsible for the delivery of professional standards within the performance spaces, and providing technical support to in-house, external and visiting productions, projects and events.The position is a physical, ‘hands on’ role and will require strong practical theatre skills, manual handling, working at height and a good grounding in different performance spaces and their systems.

SALARY: £36,886 per annum

Venue Hire Officer (0.5 FTE)

Mountview’s Sales & Events team is responsible for generating income for the charity by driving venue hire, developing our networks, and building relationships with the clients, companies and artists who use our meeting, event, office, theatre and rehearsal spaces. The team also provides an events service for other teams within Mountview, for example the Development team.

The Venue Hire Officer is a key member of the Sales & Events team, and this is a great opportunity for an organised and proactive individual to join a busy working venue in the heart of Peckham. Reporting to the Sales & Events Manager, the post holder will administrate enquiries and bookings, and assist in the planning and management of internal and occasional external events.

SALARY: Circa £31K per annum, pro rata, depending on experience

We are looking for new members to join our Development Committee, to support and champion fundraising at Mountview through the next period of our development.

We are keen to hear from applicants from any background who meet the Person Specification below, but are particularly interested in hearing from individuals with one or more of the following areas of expertise:

Those with strong connections to Trusts & Foundations
