Mountview is one of the UK’s leading drama schools. We offer professional vocational training at Foundation, Undergraduate and Postgraduate level in performance and production arts, alongside evening, weekend and holiday classes for all.

Development Events Manager (Fixed Term Contract)

The Development Events Manager is a new, fixed-term role within Mountview’s Development team, needed to help deliver key events including two high profile supporter events as well as our Graduation ceremony in autumn 2021.

The post holder will report directly to the Development Director who leads the strategic vision for fundraising at Mountview, and will work closely with the Commercial Director, Development Manager, Development Officer and with teams across the school, to deliver these activities.

SALARY: Circa £30K per annum, depending on experience

Marketing Officer

The Marketing Officer is a key member of Mountview’s communications team. Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Manager, the post holder will support the strategic and campaign needs of the Marketing Department, helping to meet audience development, student recruitment, community involvement and financial targets, and build Mountview’s brand and secure its local, national and international reputation as a leading provider of expert arts education and a renowned cultural hub.

SALARY: Circa £25K per annum, depending on experience

Senior Stage Management Tutor

The Senior Stage Management Tutor is a key member of Mountview’s Production Arts team, primarily responsible for delivering lessons in stage management and supporting students on production roles, as well as assessing student learning and progression in this area and contributing to the delivery and development of the Stage Management curriculum as a whole.

Reporting to the Head of Stage Management Training, and working alongside the 2nd Senior Stage Management Tutor, the post holder will help realise the stage management requirements of productions, projects and events across the academic calendar, and ensure that students receive the highest possible levels of tuition, guidance and support, and that tuition is responsive to students’ individual development and the needs of the professional creative industries.

Senior Scenic Art Tutor

The Senior Scenic Art Tutor is a key member of Mountview’s Production Arts team, responsible for delivering lessons in scenic art and supporting students on production roles; leading on the realisation of the scenic art requirements of productions, projects and events across the academic calendar; as well as assessing student learning and progression in this area and contributing to the delivery and development of the scenic art and prop making curriculum as a whole.

Reporting to the Head of Production Arts Training, and working closely with the Course Leader, Scenic Art & Prop Making, Senior Prop Making Tutor, Scenic Construction team and other academic and technical staff, the post holder will ensure that students receive the highest possible levels of tuition, guidance and support, and that tuition is responsive to students’ individual development and the needs of the professional creative industries.

Student Services Administrator

The Student Services Administrator will be a key member of Mountview’s administrative team, and is an ideal role for someone looking for a career in academic administration. Reporting to the Programme Manager, you will be primarily responsible for supporting the effective day-to-day running of the academic programmes, for providing a professional and proactive service to staff and students, and for delivering a range of general administrative duties across the organisation.

Senior Music Tutor (0.6 FTE)

The Senior Music Tutor is a key member of the Music and Singing team at Mountview, primarily responsible for the delivery of lessons in Musicianship (Theory & Aural), Instrumental Ensemble, Singing Rep and Acting Through Song across the Acting, Actor Musician and Musical Theatre pathways, as well as assessing student learning and progression in this area, and contributing to the delivery and development of the music and singing curriculum as a whole.

Reporting to the Head of Music, and working closely with the Joint Heads of Singing and academic staff across Performance disciplines, the post holder will ensure that students receive the highest possible levels of tuition, guidance and support, and that tuition is responsive to students’ individual development and the needs of the professional creative industries.

SALARY: Circa £28K per annum, pro rata, depending on experience

HR Manager

Mountview is at a key point in its growth and development, and we have identified the need for additional HR Management capacity alongside the current, part time post holder.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, and working closely with the Principal & Artistic Director, Executive Director and current HR Manager, who jointly comprise the HR Working Group, the HR Managers are responsible for coordinating and implementing HR policy and procedure, and for providing HR advice and guidance, across the organisation. The post holder also shares responsibility for leading on all aspects of recruitment for Mountview, including the onboarding of new staff.

SALARY: Circa £31-33K per annum, depending on experience
