Senior Lighting Tutor (Production Electrics)

The Senior Lighting Tutor (Production Electrics) is a key member of Mountview’s Production team. Reporting to the Head of Production (Training), the post holder is responsible for delivering lessons in lighting and supporting students on projects and production roles, as well as assessing student learning and progression and contributing to the Technical Production curriculum as a whole.

We welcome applications from candidates interested in working either full time or part time hours.

SALARY: £34,871 per annum (pro-rata for part time hours)

Facilities Manager

The Facilities Manager is a key member of Mountview’s Facilities & Operations team, comprising Facilities, Operations, IT, Housekeeping, Premises Officers and the Welcome Desk. Reporting to the Head of Facilities & Operations, the post holder is responsible for the operational management and maintenance of a modern higher education building opened in 2018, including the safe, efficient and effective delivery of both hard and soft facilities management services; health and safety compliance; and ensuring that Mountview’s premises are safe, clean and welcoming and fit for purpose at all times. The post holder will also support the Head of Facilities & Operations in the development and delivery of long-term maintenance strategies and asset management plans.

SALARY: Circa £37K per annum, depending on experience

Participation Manager

The Participation Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management and ongoing development of Mountview’s participation offer. This includes community programmes, schools engagement, and selected outreach projects. The post holder will line manage the core Participation team and oversee the planning and delivery of activity across the area. This includes responsibility for budgets, staffing, safeguarding, evaluation, and partnership working.

The Participation Manager will shape new activity, turn ideas into effective operational delivery, and identify opportunities for growth and improvement. They will ensure that Mountview’s participation work is inclusive, well planned, well run, financially responsible, and aligned with Mountview’s wider objectives.

SALARY: Circa £40K per annum, depending on experience

Musical Director Launch Pad

Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation and Mountview are working together to deliver the Musical Director Launch Pad: a one-year, part-time, paid development opportunity offering aspiring Musical Directors an extended learning opportunity within Mountview’s training environment. The Launch Pad participant will be embedded within the CertHE Musical Theatre course in Manchester for two terms (approximately two days per week), followed by a five-day residency at Mountview’s London campus during the summer term.

AWARD: A bursary of £5,342 plus a maintenance award of £2,348 (paid in termly instalments)

We are looking for new members to join our Development Committee, to support and champion fundraising at Mountview through the next period of our development.

We are keen to hear from applicants from any background who meet the Person Specification below, but are particularly interested in hearing from individuals with one or more of the following areas of expertise:
