Fern Boston
Director
Fern is from a small farming community in the Midlands. Play, collaboration, and silliness are at the forefront of her process. Recent credits include: Noël Coward’s Present Laughter (Exeter Northcott Theatre), Moira Buffini’s Dinner (Edinburgh Fringe), Shakespeare’s As You Like It (The Tobacco Factory), and, at Mountview, Rory Mullarkey’s Pity, Heathers: The Musical (AD), Henry IV, Part 1 (AD) and Revolt. She Said. Revolt Again (AD).
Ben Cawood
Director
Ben is a director and writer from Leeds, now based in London. He is passionate about theatre as a form of escapism: entertaining audiences through laughter. His favourite genre is farce and whilst studying at Durham University directed Noises Off and It Runs in the Family along with musical comedies such as Crazy For You and Gypsy. He is currently working on his own farce, Off and On, which will be performed at Camden Fringe and on heritage railways in the summer.
James Dodd
Director
James is a director from the North West, now based in London. His recent credits include: The Last Five Years, Next to Normal (Assistant Director), Beauty and the Beast, and Abigail’s Party. His work is fun, imaginative, and filled with heart. As a Libra, he loves collaboration, bold storytelling, and chocolate digestives.
Alice Harding
Director
Alice is an award-nominated director featured in Rolling Stone for her music video for Girl Ray. She was OffFest nominated for This Blighted Star (OFFIES, 2026) and for Barton Turf she was nominated for Best Early Career Director at Oxford Shorts Film Festival 2024.

Millie Koplick
Director
Millie is a director and movement director whose work focuses on rediscovering and reimagining the meanings of classic tales, amplifying unheard voices and creating a vision that speaks to modern audiences. Recent credits include: Dirty Money: A New Musical (Edinburgh Fringe), Couch To No Way (The White Bear Theatre), Alice (The Exeter Northcott Theatre). At Mountview: Human Animals, Come From Away (AD), Once (AD). She is also an Associate Artist/Company at The Exeter Northcott Theatre.
Nancy Ma
Director
Nancy is a theatre director and deviser from China, working across disciplines including music and filmmaking. Her work features strong visual, physical, and sonic elements, investigating social and political power structures and the human condition.
Luke McDonald
Director
Originally from Coventry, Luke has a First-Class BA (Hons) Degree in Theatre from the University of York. Elizabethan/Jacobean plays are his happy place; he has been an actor at Shakespeare’s Birthplace, and a technician at Taunton Brewhouse and Battersea Arts Centre. His Mountview highlights include directing After the End, Twelfth Night, Albion, and Measure for Measure as Assistant Director. For the latter two, he also designed/programmed the lighting and sound.
Zoe Sines
Director
Zoe is a theatre director focused on raw, emotionally driven storytelling. Her work blends naturalism with stylised and multimedia elements, creating actor-led pieces that explore identity, memory, and underrepresented voices, with an emphasis on authenticity, strong relationships, and accessible, engaging narratives.
Em Sparkes
Director
Em is a director and choreographer specialising in Classical texts and musical theatre. Their work is driven by a desire to tell emotionally truthful stories rooted in the lived experiences of people from marginalised communities. Having earned their BA in English at Cambridge, they bring a strong textual background, a generative rehearsal-room practice, and a deep belief in theatre as a space for empathy, visibility, challenge and change. Em is also the Sitz Manager for the London Musical Theatre Orchestra.
Hannah Thomas
Director
Hannah is a Yorkshire-born director and History graduate of Durham University. She has directed Tick, Tick… Boom!, Merrily We Roll Along, and Crazy For You, and recently assisted on Mountview’s Her Naked Skin. She is thrilled to collaborate with a talented company on Dillon Dowson’s play, combining her love of history and women’s stories.
Yu-Ting Yeh
Director
Yu-Ting is a Taiwanese director currently based in London. He is passionate about exploring the intricacies of the human psyche and working with literary adaptation. He aims to create middle grounds where audiences can approach the incomprehensible through his work. At Mountview, he has assisted on Faustus: That Damned Woman and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
