Hosting over 24 productions a year, our public theatre spaces welcome tens of thousands of visitors each year. If you’re looking to stage an epic musical, an intimate solo show, or a talk, conference or event, we may just have a space for you. Our theatres have an audience capacity of between 60 and 200, are fully accessible and feature technical and production facilities in-line with the highest industry standards:
Theatres
THE MACK
Our largest performance space, The Mack is a 182-seat proscenium arch theatre with seating across two levels (stalls and balcony). It’s the perfect space for productions, showcases, concerts, corporate conferences, product launches and awards ceremonies.
As part of your hire you’ll have access to the theatre’s dressing rooms, a duty technician and a dedicated event manager to support you through the planning process.

Whilst the theatre has limited availability throughout the year due to our extensive programme of student productions, some windows are available at the beginning and end of terms and during academic holidays. We can also, on occasion, facilitate corporate conferences and presentations with theatre sets in situ.

THE BACKSTAGE THEATRE
The Backstage Theatre is a fully-flexible black-box theatre space with a range of possible seating configurations for circa 80 people. As well as smaller-scale productions, showcases, cabaret and comedy, this space is also perfect for corporate conferences, meetings, filming projects, R&D and rehearsals.
As part of your hire you’ll have access to the theatre’s dressing rooms, a duty technician and a dedicated event manager to support you through the planning process.

BLACK BOX STUDIOS
Our black box studios are perfect small theatre spaces for teching fringe and small scale touring shows, filming projects, informal work sharings, corporate presentations and R&D projects.
