MA CREATIVE PRODUCING 2018/19

Dahna Borojevic

Dahna is an international producer from Croatia. After obtaining an MA in English language and Comparative literature at the University of Zagreb, Dahna has moved to London to pursue an international career in theatre producing. She has been part of the acclaimed Daska Theatre whose last project she produced for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, as well as a Ulysses Theatre associate. Dahna is working on bringing international shows to the UK as well as producing plays by giving a voice to the silenced. Dahna is particularly interested in pursuing social issues and educational shows, using multidisciplinary methods to emphasise the power and beauty of theatre as an art form. She is currently assisting on a project at Theatre Deli.

Alex Deacon

Alex Deacon is a theatre maker from Nottingham. He graduated from London Southbank University in Drama and Performance in 2018. As an actor, Alex has performed at Nottingham Theatre Royal in Peter Pan and Oliver!. For the Lace Market Theatre he has directed the Chekhov short classic Swansong and assisted on Githa Sowerby’s Rutherford and Sons. He was also a supporting cast member in the Doctor Who Audio Drama Harvest of the Sycorax for Big Finish Productions. Last year he visited Edinburgh International Fringe Festival with Not All Men.

Grace Dickson

Grace, from Newcastle, graduated in Mathematics from the University of Edinburgh in 2018. Her producing credits include the UK premiere of Tom at the Farm (Bedlam), Spring Awakening (Ed Fringe 2016), The Marriage of Figaro (Assembly Roxy) and The Improverts (Ed Fringe 2017). She was President & Treasurer of the EU Shakespeare Company, and Events Manager for Edinburgh Studio Opera. She is Executive Director of lagahoo productions, and is currently Assistant Producer to Ellie Claughton for productions including It’s True, It’s True, It’s True and Trojan Horse. Grace has worked as a Junior Publicist for Premier Comms and Marketing Assistant for Meadow-Rosenthal and Target Live. She has also worked with Global Musicals and Improbable. Grace has performed in over 30 productions, has choreographed Guys & Dolls (Churchill Theatre) and she directed and choreographed a sell-out run of Sondheim’s Company at Edinburgh Fringe 2017.

Guillaume Doussin

Guillaume is an actor and theatre-maker from Lambesc, France. His acting and directing experience spans four countries, with recent credits including Never Swim Alone (Moyse Hall), “Art” (Players’ Theatre), Owners (Tuesday Night Café Theatre), The Thrill of the Chaise (Montréal Fringe Festival) and No Exit (Festival d’Avignon). In London, Guillaume has worked for Improbable and Olivier-nominated immersive theatre company Les Enfants Terribles.

Cory Duffill

Cory is a producer with an enthusiastic interest in experimental arts. He studied BA(Hons) Contemporary Theatre and Performance at Manchester Metropolitan University. His background includes Production/Tour/Stage Management working for festivals such as Flare International Festival 2017, Edinburgh Fringe, Vault Festival and as Tour Manager for Griff Rhys Jones: All Over The Place.  Producing credits include Scratched (Launch 2018/Z-Arts/Hope Mill Theatre, Manchester), BLACK HOLE (Cellar Theatre, Sheffield), Martinis on the Hill (HOME/Manchester & KASK/Ghent), Coming Out Of My Cage (Vault 2020).

Paige Evans

Paige has an eclectic background in programming, artistic direction and mental health advocacy – currently working as a Mental Health Project Officer and running her own food-focused theatre company, Ravenous. Ravenous’ shows have toured within London and the SW, most recently being awarded the Artist Residency @ intoBodmin, Cornwall (2019). Alongside her creative-based work, Paige has managed the OSO Arts Centre and has worked with Drayton Arms Theatre, Exeter Phoenix, Park Theatre, PW Productions, Baby Wants Candy! & Rosemary Branch Theatre.

Lydia Harrison

Lydia is a theatre producer from Sheffield with an undergraduate degree from the University of Leeds in Theatre & Performance. Whilst working in the north of England, she established Big Egg Theatre, a new writing and absurdist theatre company. In 2018, Lydia produced Big Egg Theatre’s first UK Fringe Tour of Bummer and Lazarus. She has also worked with Leeds-based organisations Transform Festival and Slung Low before moving to London to start the MA Creative Producing course at Mountview. Since starting her MA course, Lydia has completed a Producing and Marketing internship with Global Musicals and is taking Ashleigh Laurence’s Tumours to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Rebecca Lyle

Rebecca Lyle is a theatre producer and marketer. She is currently Head of Marketing at Red Entertainment and runs her own company, Lyle Productions.

Marie-Elena Nash

Marie-Elena graduated with a Classical Studies BA from The Open University in 2016. After graduating she completed internships both at the Finborough Theatre and with Selladoor Worldwide. Recent theatre credits include The Cloak of Visibility (Producer) The Space Arts Centre, Sentenced to Silence (Producer) which had a sell-out run at the 2019 Camden Fringe Festival, Superstar (Assistant Producer) at the Southwark Playhouse and Flinch (Assistant Producer) at the Old Red Lion Theatre.

Mat Page

Mat Page studied technical theatre and production at Dundee & Angus College, Edinburgh College and the University of the of West Scotland. In the final year of his degree, Mat Page developed an interest in producing incorporating his management skills, creative flair and cross-departmental understanding of theatre. For the past four years Mat Page has been working as a Venue Manager for the Pleasance theatre during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and for his 5th year he will going to Edinburgh as a producer.

Corey Reynolds

Corey is a chartered accountant and is completing an MA Creative Producing at Mountview. He completed the Stage One Producing workshop in 2016 and the CTI Intensive (New York City) in 2019. Producing credits include The Last Five Years, Sing On Through Tomorrow, The Unspoken Word is Joe, The Lonely Wolf, The Trouble With Harry, and Amadeus. As an accountant he has worked for Opera Australia, GWB Entertainment, Paxinos and Associates, White Sky Music, Mushroom Music Group and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Board memberships have included MKA: Theatre of New Writing, Lyric Opera Melbourne and Vanguard (Malthouse Theatre).

Lacey Ruttley

Lacey is a theatre maker who graduated from Bath Spa University in 2017 with a BA in Drama. During her time at university she developed a passion for interdisciplinary work including the use of multi-media. Credits include Memories We Lost in the Fire (Bath Fringe Festival), Crash (Bath Spa University Theatre), The Tempest (Burdall’s Yard). Since starting MA Creative Producing at Mountview, Lacey has been working for Paines Plough as their Production and Marketing intern.

Amber Ryder

Amber is a London-based film and theatre-maker. She graduated from Bournemouth Film School in 2017 and has many professional short film, feature film and commercial credits with companies such as Nice Shirt Films, Seize Films, Luti Media, Independent Talent Group and Superhero. Amber has produced small-scale musicals including productions of Our House, American Idiot and Into The Woods. She also has a background in stage management having worked as a stage manager at Dorset’s leading youth theatre company Big Little Theatre School.

Leigh Spence

Leigh is an English graduate from the University of Exeter. She is a theatre producer with a passion for musical theatre, dance and adaptation. Her previous producing experience includes Singin’ in the Rain (Exeter Northcott), Gypsy (Barnfield Theatre), My Fair Lady (Exeter Lemon Grove) and interning with Paddleboat Theatre Company. She is currently working freelance on various small-scale theatre projects and is based in London.
