THE BIG GIVE CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE 2025: DOUBLE THE DONATION, DOUBLE THE DIFFERENCE
This Christmas season, Mountview is proud to take part in the Big Give Christmas Challenge with donations going towards our 80th Birthday Fund — supporting talented students from all backgrounds to access world-class dramatic training – as we seek to raise £80,000 before July 2026.
From noon on Tuesday 2 December (Giving Tuesday) to noon on Tuesday 9 December, every donation made to our campaign will be matched, meaning your gift will have twice the impact. Double the donation, double the difference!
WHY YOUR SUPPORT MATTERS
With the rising cost of living driving financial insecurity and mental health challenges, young artists need support to access dramatic training.
Without help, many gifted students are forced to give up simply because they can’t afford to train. Our 80th Birthday Fund will change that by channelling help towards:
- Scholarships – helping students from low-income and working-class backgrounds train at Mountview through needs-based scholarship awards.
- Emergency and Wellbeing Support – helping students overcome unexpected financial, health and wellbeing challenges, and stay focused on their training through emergency grants, counselling and wellbeing resources.
Your support ensures creativity, talent and passion — not income — determine who gets to train at Mountview.
HOW IT WORKS
Mountview’s Big Give campaign will be live between 2 and 9 December. During this week:
- Every donation will be matched, doubling its value whether you give £10 or £10,000.
- Donations must be made through The Big Give platform to qualify for match funding.
- Our target is to raise £17,500 in public donations, which will be doubled to £35,000!
HOW YOU CAN HELP
- Donate between noon on 2 December and noon on 9 December via our Big Give campaign page
- Spread the word on social media with #GivingTuesday and #Mountview80
- Encourage others — tell friends, family and colleagues that their support will be matched and multiplied
