Marco Morbidelli - Head of Undergraduate Performance Training and Joint Head of Singing

Marco is a singing and voice teacher who trained in both Italy and the UK. He gained an MA in Voice Studies from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in 2006, qualified as an Estill Mentor and Course Instructor in 2018, and holds a Certificate in Gender Affirming Voice and Communication Coaching (Distinction). He is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
 
He has taught singing, practical voice, and text at several drama schools and conservatories in Italy and the UK, including the Bernstein School of Musical Theatre in Bologna, and the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and Royal Academy of Music in London.
 
Alongside his role as Head of Undergraduate Performance Training and Joint Head of Singing at Mountview, Marco is a PhD candidate at the University of Sheffield. His research investigates the vocal challenges faced by musical theatre students in higher education and examines how these relate to concepts of identity and authenticity.
