On Stage and Screen

The National Theatre has announced the collaboration with the Unicorn Theatre on a touring production titled The Last Wild, which will be directed by the Unicorn’s Artistic Director Rachel Bagshaw.

Beverly Klein will take on the role of Yente and Natasha Jules Bernard will play Tzeitel in the Barbican cast of Fiddler on the Roof. Joining them will be Gareth Davies as Avram and Chris Draper as as offstage swing.

Max Eade plays Michelangelo in Pop Off, Michelangelo!, set for a five-week run at Underbelly Boulevard Soho. Aoife Haakenson plays the role of Mother, with lighting designed by Adam King.

Georgia Leila Stoller and AJ Jenks joined the cast of The Farmer, The Wolf, The Goat & The Cabbage, a brand-new musical comedy show for young schoolchildren. This production is inspired by a riddle that dates back 900 years, with Reuben Greeph working as Musical Director.

Chumisa Dornford-May and Alistair Brookshaw are part of the cast in Stephen Sondheim and David Ives’ Here We Are at the National Theatre.

Izzy Edmunds Clarke and Charlotte Scott joined the new West End cast of The Play That Goes Wrong.

Andrew Atha and Lauren Michell performed in a dark zombie-comedy titled BRAINS by Andrew Atha as part of the Peckham Fringe this year.

Ralph Warman has recently established a new professional musical theatre choir called Leading Voices LDN, dedicated to promoting and supporting new British and UK-based musical theatre writers. The debut concert, Fresh Off The Score, will take place on Sunday 29 June at The Union Theatre. The cast includes Marnie Yule, Samuel Winner and Scott McClure.

Léona McClay wrote and performed in Bearable Sequence at the Golden Goose Theatre, alongside Alhena Al-Ali Douglas and Lydia Whitehead as part of the cast.

Lucas Koch is part of the cast of Evita at the London Palladium.

Alexandra Ricou is touring with A Shoddy Detective and The Art of Deception across the UK as an understudy.

Samuel Winner directed their first short film titled A Man Finds a Church So He Can Go to the Pub, which has been selected for the Lift Off Filmmakers Sessions.

Ben Newman has spent the last eight months as Resident Director at the Oxford Playhouse/MCS and has confirmed their continuation for another academic year. During this time, Ben has worked on various productions, including working as an Assistant Director for award-winning Sleeping Beauty pantomime, Co-Director for the Primary Playmakers project featured on ITV News Meridian, and assisting with Out of Chaos’s production of Macbeth. Ben is about to begin rehearsals as Associate Director for OP’s Playhouse Plays Out production of The History of (Almost) Everything by Ben Watson and will also work as Associate Director for this year’s Oxford Playhouse pantomime, Dick Whittington.

Bethlehem Wolday-Myers is co-starring alongside Toby Jones and Tewodros Aregawe in a brand new BBC Radio 4 play called The Coat by Dawn Harrison. Bethlehem also recently finished filming for a Compare the Market advert with Ashleigh Reynolds.

Daniel-John Williams portrays Fungi in the live-action film How To Train Your Dragon.

Amelia Sears directed the production of Terence Rattigan’s In Praise of Love.

Zachary Pang leads the physical company in the new immersive show Storehouse.

Eddie Elliott and Ben Skym joined the cast of Noughts and Crosses at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre.

Stephanie Cremona joined the cast for Grease revival at Blackpool Grand Theatre.

Estelle Denison-French joined the cast of OSCAR at the Crown as on-stage Swing.

Justin Edwards will take on the role of Frank in the revival of Educating Rita.

Joe Beighton works as Musical Supervisor and Co-Orchestrator for new musical Hot Mess.

Luke Bayer will play Jack in the new West End cast of Titanique, alongside Hiba Elchikhe who will take on the role of Rose. Lauren Drew will continue to play Céline as part of the original cast, as will Rodney Vubya and Madison Swan, who continue as on-stage Background Vocalists.

Jenny Fitzpatrick will play Sandra in the UK premiere of Sing Street, alongside Cameron Hogan who will take on the role of Darren.

Josh Clemetson joined the new West End cast of Hamilton.

Laura Pitt-Pulford will portray Adult Marie in Little Dancer, a new musical.

Andrew Berlin joined the cast of a new musical 13 Going On 30.

Harrison Sharpe will portray Brent Carradine in The Daughter of Time at Charing Cross Theatre.

Matteo Giambiasi performed in a new musical called Snap! at the King’s Head Theatre, with Debbi Clarke as Musical Director.

Tashinga Bepete and Ryan Speakman are both understudies in Good Night, Oscar at the Barbican Theatre.

A STAN IS BORN! written and performed by Alexis Sakellaris returned to London for a residency run at Riverside Studios.

Dan Buckley plays the role of Dionysos in the musical The Frogs at Southwark Playhouse Borough, alongside Ben McQuigg as Musical Supervisor and Elliot Aitken as Assistant Director.

Lewis Renninson joined the London cast of Les Misérables.

Freddie Webster joined the company of Blessings at the Riverside Studios.

Elina Saleh and Richard Vincent directed Talking People at The Bush, an improv show featuring Mountview alumni Elina Saleh, Kerim Hassan, Olivia Benjamin and Kamal Boulema.

Alexander Zane plays Annas in Jesus Christ Superstar at the Watermill Theatre alongside Maisie Mandley in the ensemble.

George Dyer works as Musical Supervisor and Orchestrations Adapter for The Sound of Music at Curve, Leicester.

Livs Needham is Musical Director for Footballers’ Wives musical.

Hope Dawe will play Alternate Ali Rose in Burlesque the Musical, alongside Caitlin Morgan as Associate Musical Director.

Luke Garner-Greene joins the cast of Inter Alia with Rosamund Pike at the National Theatre as understudy.

Ruth Harvey was the Lighting Programmer for Millennium Girls at Brixton House, and is currently the Lighting Programmer/Associate LD for The Frogs at Southwark Playhouse.

Ian Scott is a Lighting Designer for Fawlty Towers.

Roger Penhale has been Company Manager for the RSC’s production of Matilda The Musical at the Cambridge Theatre. Credits include: Starlight Express, Show Boat, West Side Story, The Producers, Lord of the Rings, Priscilla Queen of the Desert and Wizard of Oz.

Hope Killen is an Assistant Stage Manager for Burlesque the Musical.
