Mountview Students Welcome Christmas to Peckham

Mountview students brought festive cheer to Peckham Square on Thursday 13 December, helping Mayor of Southwark Cllr Catherine Rose turn on the lights of the town’s Christmas tree.

First year Musical Theatre students led local residents in choruses of Away in a Manger, O Come All Ye Faithful and We Wish You a Merry Christmas. 

Cllr Rose said “It’s wonderful to have such brilliant young talent in the heart of Peckham” as she and Mountview’s Chief Executive Sarah Preece lit up the 12-foot tree.
