We are excited to announce Mountview’s Spring Season of productions, showcasing the talents of our BA (Hons) Performance – Acting, Actor Musicianship and Musical Theatre students, with the support of our Production Arts students.

24-27 January | The Mack

A mysterious storyteller. A burnt-out village. A choice that has to be made…

Based on Bertolt Brecht’s epic masterpiece, this beautiful and dark fable explores the nature of possession and the sinister side of human nature. A new production brought richly to life with songs and music from our Actor-Musicianship students.

3-10 February | Backstage Theatre

“We’ve got magic to do…” 

A group of young women gather in the middle of the night to bring a prince’s story to life, where he seeks true meaning in a world without opportunity. Performed by our Musical Theatre students, Pippin is a Broadway classic given a thrilling new spin in this contemporary production that features the songs ‘Guess I’ll Miss The Man’ and ‘Corner of the Sky’.

1930s Budapest, and romance is in the air for the employees of Maraczek’s Parfumerie. Georg and Amalia may bicker and squabble at work, but is it all for show? And just who is the ‘Dear Friend’ that each of them is lovingly writing to…?

An effervescent romantic comedy musical performed by Mountview’s Musical Theatre students, which sparkles with wit, romance and exuberant joy.
