Lisa Martin - Senior Prop Making Tutor

Lisa studied Fine Art at City & Guilds of London Art School, specialising in Figurative Sculpture, and from there stepped into the role of model maker, creating prototypes for the toy industry.

She subsequently completed a PGCE in Art and Design at Goldsmith’s University and taught in adult education, and opened an art centre, providing after-school activities and art parties.

After exhibiting her work at IMATS and Creaturegeddon, Lisa spent ten years working in the events and theatre industry and in 2019 completed a foundation degree in Stage Management and Technical Theatre at RADA.

Since then, Lisa has worked as a production designer for Foresight films, and a scenic and prop maker at The War of the Worlds Experience, Theme Traders and the English National Opera. Prior to starting her role Mountview, she worked on the ballet Mixed Beauty and the operas Jenufa and Macbeth at the Royal Opera House.
