Roy Williams OBE - Distinguished Visiting Artist, MA/MFA Creative Practice – Dramatic Writing

Roy is a multi-award winning writer whose extensive credits include Death of England: Closing Time, Death of England: Delroy and Death of England (National Theatre), The Lonely Londoners (Jermyn Street Theatre / Kiln), Sucker Punch (Royal Court), Sing Yer Heart Out For The Lads (National Theatre), as well as Death of England: Face to Face (National Theatre / SKY TV) which was nominated for Best Single Drama at the BAFTA TV awards.

He is an Olivier nominee for Sucker Punch, for which he also co-won the Alfred Fagon Award. 

Recently Roy’s BBC Radio 3 audio drama Gatsby in Harlem won in multiple categories at The British Audio Awards (aka The Speakies), including Audio of the Year and Best Performance for Ncuti Gatwa’s portrayal of Gatsby.
