“In Russia it was chaos or some brave new world, depends who you talk to.
Everything is upside down, inside out.
But inside, you are just trying to be normal.
Live.”

Witness the story of former Russian intelligence officer Alexander Litvinenko, who is granted asylum in Britain but whose vocal opposition ultimately leads to a tragic end. Through the eyes of his grieving wife Marina, the play takes us through extraordinary true events and unravels the complexities of Russian politics and corruption.

Written by Lucy Prebble, the executive producer of Succession, this hyper-theatrical thriller will leave you both shocked and moved. A Very Expensive Poison is performed by our Acting cohort.
