DUTY MANAGER (PART TIME AND CASUAL ROLES)

The Duty Manager will be a key member of Mountview’s new Front of House team, comprising Duty Management, Box Office, Security Officers, Venue Assistants and Ushers.

Reporting to the Venue Manager, and working on a rota basis alongside other Duty Managers, the post holder will be primarily responsible for supervising the day-to-day operation of the building, ensuring the highest standards of Front of House customer service; the smooth running of shows, events and hires; and the health and safety of staff, students, members of the public and other building users at all times.

SALARY: Circa £27K per annum, pro rata, depending on experience

VENUE AND ESTATES ADMINISTRATOR (1 YEAR FIXED TERM CONTRACT)

The Venue and Estates Administrator is a key member of Mountview’s administrative team, responsible for supporting the Venue and Estates Director in the running of the Venue Operations, Facilities Management and Theatre Technical teams, including the management of ICT resources and the statutory implementation of health and safety across the organisation.

At this time of significant organisational change for Mountview, the post holder will also provide administrative support to the Venue and Estates Director in the client-side project management of the remaining phases of Mountview’s move to new premises.

SALARY: Circa £24-25K per annum, depending on experience

DEPUTY BOX OFFICE MANAGER (30 HOURS PER WEEK / 0.75 FTE)

The Deputy Box Office Manager will be a key member of Mountview’s new front of house team, comprising Box Office, Duty Managers, Ushers, Security Officers and Venue Assistants. Reporting to the Box Office Manager, the post holder is primarily responsible for assisting with the management and supervision of the Box Office and its staff, acting as a vital link between Mountview’s audiences, visitors and building users.

SALARY: Circa £23K per annum, pro rata, depending on experience

Wardrobe Supervisor

The Wardrobe Supervisor is a key member of the Production Arts Department, assisting the Wardrobe Manager with all aspects of making, sourcing and maintaining costumes, and supervising the costume requirements of allocated projects, productions and events across the academic calendar. The post holder will also be jointly responsible, with the 2nd Wardrobe Supervisor, for assisting in the day-to-day running of the Wardrobe department, deputising for the Wardrobe Manager in their absence.

SALARY: Circa £26K per annum, depending on experience

BOX OFFICE ASSISTANT (FULL TIME, PART TIME AND CASUAL ROLES)

The Box Office Assistants will be key members of Mountview’s new front of house team, comprising Box Office, Duty Management, Security Officers, Venue Assistants and Ushers. Reporting to the Box Office Manager, the post holders will be primarily responsible for selling tickets for performances, events and classes, providing the highest standards of customer service at all times and acting as a vital link between Mountview’s audiences, visitors and building users.

SALARY: Circa £22K per annum, pro rata, depending on experience

STUDENT SERVICES ADMINISTRATOR

The Student Services Administrator will be a key member of Mountview’s administrative team. Reporting to the Programme Manager, the post holder will be primarily responsible for supporting the effective day-to-day running of the academic programmes, for providing a professional and proactive service to staff and students, and for delivering a range of general administrative duties across the organisation.

SALARY: Circa £23-24K per annum, pro rata, depending on experience

VENUE ASSISTANT

The Venue Assistant is a key member of Mountview’s Venue and Estates department, comprising the Operations, Facilities and Technical Teams, and also works as part of the new front of house team, comprising Box Office, Duty Management, Security Officers, Venue Assistants and Ushers.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, and working closely with the 2nd Venue Assistant, the post holder is primarily responsible for assisting in the movement and setup of furniture, equipment and teaching resources required for the smooth running of the building and the activities taking place within it. The Venue Assistant will also assist in the upkeep and maintenance of the building, helping ensure that the site is clean, safe, warm, welcoming and fit for purpose at all times.

SALARY: Circa £22K per annum, depending on experience
