Colin trained with The Royal Shakespeare Company and subsequently as Assistant Designer at The Royal Opera House and English National Opera.



Credits include: Die Zauberflote, Flastaff, Il Tabarro (New National Theatre, Tokyo), Les Contes d’Hoffmann (Diva Opera, Cap Ferrat), The Ring Cycle (Covent Garden Festival), La Traviata (Toronto Festival Opera), Premiere First Award for Kitty Genovese (Edinburgh Festival), Mastersingers Award for Little Musgrave (Aldeburgh), world premiere of Cry Of Innocence (Greenwich) and world premiere of Tess of the d’Urbervilles (national tour).



His Milan production of We Will Rock You is currently touring major venues across Italy. He also tutors in costume/prop creation and is an MA lecturer on contextual theatre studies.
