Lauren studied Drama at university, going on to be a part of the Everyman and Playhouse emerging directors scheme where she worked with directors such as Nick Bagnall, Chris Tomlinson, Gemma Bodinetz, Matthew Xia and Jeff James.

Her professional directorial debut was Alice Birch’s Revolt. She Said. Revolt Again (Everyman). She is particularly interested in straight plays with a political edge, physical theatre, and working with new writers.
