GETTING TO MAC

Training takes place at MAC, which is located in Cannon Hill Park, opposite Edgbaston Stadium. The full address is MAC, Cannon Hill Park, Birmingham, B12 9QH.

Transport for West Midlands (TfWM) is the public body responsible for co-ordinating transport services in the West Midlands – visit the website for all  travel details, including Travel Cards and prices.

Train
• Closest train stations are Five Ways, University, Selly Oak and Birmingham New Street (all under 2 miles away)
• Visit National Rail for timetables and tickets
• A 16–25 Railcard and a 26-30 Railcard are available, giving you 1/3 off many train fares

Bus
• There are several bus routes which stop close to MAC – visit MAC for more details or use Journey Planner via National Express West Midlands
• Bus fares in Birmingham are capped at a maximum of £3 per single journey, or an unlimited nBus Day ticket costs £4.80 (bought on the bus or via the mTicket app)

Cycling and Walking
• Walking and cycling are great options for getting to MAC
• The “Go Cycle” scheme offers free access to cycle and e-scooter hire to eligible West Midlands residents

• Nearby car parks are run by the local council, not MAC. These include Queen’s Ride, Pershore Road (via the Wildlife Conservation Park), and Russell Road
