Kate joined Mountview as a Senior Performance Tutor in 2023 and became Joint Course Leader for MA Performance in January 2025 after 17 years of being a Freelance Theatre Director. Kate trained at Birkbeck College and on the National Theatre Studio Directors course. She has been a Creative Associate at the Bush Theatre and has worked as Assistant and Associate Director for The Gate Theatre, The Almeida, The Opera Group, Pentabus Theatre, the Bush Theatre, Opera North and for the Michael Grandage Company. She was Associate Director on Girl From The North Country from 2019-2022.
