After moving to the UK and training at Arts Educational Tring Park and London Studio Centre, Vanessa’s career started off in musical theatre, performing in the West End and on tour in musicals such as Wicked, Chess, A Chorus Line and Dirty Dancing. She then pivoted towards the film and TV industry where she had the opportunity to work in front of the camera, as well as working within the creative and production teams as a Choreographer and Movement Coordinator. During this time, Vanessa developed a huge passion for teaching and empowering the next generation of artists. She has taught at various theatre schools such as Arts 1 and Turners Dance Studios, as well as at higher education Institutions,such as Debut Studios and Shockout Arts. Last year, Vanessa joined the Mountview family as a freelance dance teacher on the Musical Theatre Foundation course in Manchester, and joining the core staff team as a Foundation Tutor in Manchester this year.
