Alex trained at East 15 Acting School and has since worked as a freelance lighting designer and technician on productions touring around the world. He worked in the LX department on the first UK and Ireland tour of Jersey Boys; as Head of Lighting and Sound for the China tour of Dora the Explorer; as Lighting Designer for the world premiere School’s Edition of School of Rock; and as part of the team lighting the London Eye for the 2012/13 Marking Midnight celebrations.
He has also worked on board cruise ships, and for Stage Electrics as a Technical Project Manager in their Long Term Hire department, looking after the company’s touring and non-touring theatrical productions.
