Charlie studied at Guildhall School of Music and Drama and has an MA in movement. She also trained at Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Arts and the Doreen Bird College of Performing Arts.

Charlie is Associate Head of Vocal Studies (Movement) at Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She has also taught at RADA, Drama Centre, Mountview, ALRA, GSA and Italia Conti. She has worked as a choreographer for over 20 years on many musical theatre productions, pantomimes, plays, operas and commercial theatre
