Clothes with Stories: Reviving Your Wardrobe’s Life
Sunday 24 March, 12-2pm
Encouraging sustainability, fostering creativity and building connection in a world dominated by fast fashion and consumerism, this workshop aims to redefine our relationship with clothing. Participants will be encouraged to forge new connections with their possessions and offered an opportunity to breathe new life into neglected items. By upcycling or transforming clothing and shoes into unique pieces of art, we can impart the objects we wear with deeper meaning and consider their history and the hands that created them.
Attendees are encouraged to bring an item of clothing but spare items will be available on the day. Suitable for all ages, but under 12’s must be accompanied by an adult.
