Join Roadworks Media for an engaging stop frame animation and podcasting workshop. This program aims to enhance participants’ skills in visual arts, animation and podcasting. Through a combination of physical and digital art techniques, participants will delve into creative writing and explore themes of diversity, inclusion and social unity. Throughout the project you will refine your creative expression and skills, culminating in a final project showcase to the community at our Open House event on 24 March.

Workshop Practitioners
Quince Garcia: “I founded Roadworks Media on the principals of deterrence, repairing and empowerment – based on my own life story, which was once filled with crime. Being true to the person I wanted to identify as being, I began a journey of re-examining what I was passionate about. While on this mission to resolve my traumas and deal with them healthily, my ambitions, hopes and dreams became something I wanted to manifest in the community where I came from. Today I am honored with a film and animation degree and an award that helps to recognise Youth Achievement.”
Joseph Santiago: “I’m mostly a creative film freelancer, I like to explore and create, but I like to create things with a vision, where every scene and every movement is done with a reason, nothing is done by mistake. That’s probably what I like about film too, to the naked eye it’s just a story , but to the one who understands how it is made, he is a alien being able to see what it truly means.”
