It was like an energy filled my body – an energy made of words. And the words were, Go where there’s violence.

Silicon Valley. The future. A rocket launches.

Luke is an aerospace billionaire who can talk to anyone. But God is talking to him. He sets out to change the world. Only violence stands in his way.

Performed by members of our MA Acting cohort, and written by Pulitzer Prize finalist Christopher Shinn, Against is an ambitious, State-of-the-World play, that explores our relationship to the sources and legacies of violence and to tech billionaires who seem to have answers.
