It’s 1660. Charles II has thrown off the shackles of Puritanism and reignited London’s love of all things anarchic, extravagant and sexy. And at Drury Lane, Nell Gwynn is causing stirrings amongst the theatregoers… This boisterous comedy charts the rise of theatre’s greatest rebel, a woman making her way through a man’s world with joyful cheek and charm.

This is an amateur production by arrangement with Nick Hern Books.

Duration: 2 hours, 45 minutes, including a 15-minute interval

This play features strong language, themes of violence and a sexual nature.
