Postgraduate Season 2025 Announced
We are delighted to announce Mountview’s Postgraduate Season of productions, showcasing the talents of our MA Acting and MA Musical Theatre students, with the support of our Theatre Production Arts students.
Head Over Heels
13 – 17 Jun | The Mack
Welcome to the lush, rolling hills of Arcadia – where wine flows, sheep graze, and the Royal Family is about to have their world turned upside down.
When a cryptic prophecy threatens the kingdom, the Royals embark on a riotous quest packed with defiance, desire, and a whole lot of heart. Fueled by the hits of 1980s rock icons The Go-Go’s – including “We Got the Beat,” “Our Lips Are Sealed,” and “Heaven is a Place on Earth” – this is not your average fairy tale.
Based on Sir Philip Sidney’s The Arcadia, with a book by Jeff Whitty and adaptation by James Magruder, this unapologetically bold, hilarious and effervescent story is performed by our MA Musical Theatre students with full-throttle energy.
Expect chaos. Expect love. Expect the unexpected. And possibly a sheep or two.

Curtains
2 – 5 Jul | The Mack
Curtains is a mischievous musical murder mystery set in 1959 during the opening night of a new show at Boston’s Colonial Theatre. When the excruciatingly untalented star of Robbin’ Hood of the Old West dies on stage, the entire cast and crew become suspects. It is up to local detective (and theatre enthusiast) Frank Cioffi to solve the mystery, save the production, and perhaps even discover love before the show can reopen…
This sharp, witty comedy features an original book and concept by Peter Stone, with music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb, all brought to life (and death!) by our MA Musical Theatre cohort.
