Devon, 1602. Meet Clorin: healer, hermit… definitely not a witch.
At summer solstice, Clorin’s instant connection with a young priest collides with her best friend’s betrothal. As both women risk the treacherous waters of love in a game loaded against them, their lives, and the script itself, splinter into chaos.
This witty, unsettling, radical reimagining of a forgotten Elizabethan tragicomedy asks what women must sacrifice to step beyond the roles they are forced to play.
