In a field, four creatures gather to share testimonies collected from a real-life farming village, painting a muddy portrait of a community ignored by society and often misrepresented on the stage.

Fern Boston

Director

Fern Boston is from a small farming community in the Midlands. Play, collaboration, and silliness are at the forefront of her process. Recent credits include: Noël Coward’s Present Laughter (Exeter Northcott Theatre), Moira Buffini’s Dinner (Edinburgh Fringe), Shakespeare’s As You Like It (The Tobacco Factory), and, at Mountview, Rory Mullarkey’s Pity, Heathers: The Musical (AD), Henry IV, Part 1 (AD) and Revolt. She Said. Revolt Again (AD).

Grace Taylor

Producer

Grace Taylor is an Indonesian/Irish actor, currently based in London. After receiving an undergraduate degree in Acting, she is now furthering her practice by studying creative producing at Mountview. Grace is dedicated to creating work that represents Southeast Asian, specifically Indonesian voices, and hopes to make her home proud.
