A teenage boy navigating the chaos of life, school, friends, puberty and girls finds a chat bot that seems to have all the answers; as he comes to rely more and more heavily on The Chat, things take a dark and disturbing turn.

Director

James is a director from the North West, now based in London. His recent credits include: The Last Five Years, Next to Normal (Assistant Director), Beauty and the Beast, and Abigail’s Party. His work is fun, imaginative, and filled with heart. As a Libra, he loves collaboration, bold storytelling, and chocolate digestives.

Simon Dollinger

Producer

Simon is a producer, writer, and performer from Los Angeles, who has been based in the UK for the past 6 years. After receiving his undergraduate in acting from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, he moved to London with the aim of further developing his creative voice. He is currently an in-house producer at Omnibus Theatre in Clapham. His practice is rooted in the development of new writing with an interest in early career creatives.

Eddie Oliver

Writer

Eddie Oliver is a writer, performer and multi disciplinary artist. He loves dark comedy, and has a great fondness for horror and the gothic. He is interested in using genre to subvert expectations and explore previously untold stories and overlooked perspectives. With a background in education, he aims to create work that challenges and provokes an audiences as well as entertains. His award winning show Beautiful Nothing (5 stars, Palatinate) had a sold out run in Camden People's Theatre.
