Fair is foul, and foul is fair.

Shut out of power in a man’s world, Lady Macbeth finds her voice—and her fury—among a circle of “weird” women, igniting a brutal plot that reveals her as the unseen force controlling Scotland’s bloodiest ambition. This adaptation of Shakespeare’s Macbeth unflinchingly exposes the true Machiavel behind one of Shakespeare’s most iconic plays and takes the text where it’s never been before.

Show duration: 75 mins
Content warnings: violence and staged combat, references to murder and political violence, psychological manipulation and coercion, sexual tension and suggestive behaviour, power dynamics within intimate and political relationships.
